Please help our community be as healthy as possible and stay home if you are sick!
Because of the size of our event, we are asking all attendees, but ESPECIALLY staff, to be extra covid-cautious for two weeks prior to the event.
This can look like avoiding or or wearing N95 masks in crowded public spaces and dances, using covid rapid testing when gathering with friends, and doing things to keep your body happy (good hydration, sleep, eating habits, etc.).
We are not requiring proof of any vaccines.
We STRONGLY encourage all attendees to be up to date on all recommended vaccinations, especially annual flu and covid boosters.
We will have some N95s available for any attendees who wish to use them.
We are requiring covid rapid testing each day you are at the event.
Please take a rapid test before arriving at the Lotte hotel the first day you attend! We have limited space around the check in desk so please be prepared to show a photo of your initialed and dated test upon arrival. Do not plan to take your test on site.
At check-in, we will provide you with covid tests for the remaining days you will be in attendance.
You will need to check in and show a photo of your initialed and dated test each day. We will give you a different colored wristband after checking your covid test each day of the event.
We will have a few at-home PCR covid tests available for any ambiguous situations that arise. We will trust the results of this test over those of rapid tests.
If you test positive for covid shortly before the event and can’t attend Hi-Fi, email us at team@highfidelityfusion.com with the subject line "COVID refund" with a picture of your dated and initialed positive test for a full refund.
If you feel better but are still testing positive at the tail end of having covid, you cannot attend.
All refunds requested within two weeks before the event will be fulfilled AFTER the event.
If you test positive for covid during or shortly after the event, email us at team@highfidelityfusion.com with the subject line "COVID status" to let us know as soon as possible.
If someone tests positive during the event and went to classes, we will email the people in those classes to let them know.
If someone you are housing with tests positive for covid:
Isolate them from the housemates who are testing negative as thoroughly as possible.
Everyone in their housing still testing negative can come to the event, but must wear N95s while present.

High-Fidelity Fusion will have photographers and videographers working throughout the event in various locations in the venue.
These will be released to the event for use/sharing on Social Media after review by the photography/videography team. When this occurs, you can expect to see this material shared as an album on Facebook, and also on our website, other social media accounts and promotional material by High-Fidelity Fusion or the photographer/videographers.
As an attendee, you may be tagged in the event by photographers or participants. At any point, you may reach out to the High-Fidelity Fusion/photography team to request a tag of yourself be added or removed from the material. You may also request that shared photos/videos of yourself be removed and deleted from social media, at any time.
Before the event, High-Fidelity Fusion will post the names of the official event photographers and videographers so that event attendees may know who they are.Opting out — During the event Attendees may opt out of event photography and recording by wearing a special colored “no photo” wristband. Photographers may publish photos and videos; Hi-Fi will use some to publicize and market Hi-Fi (e.g., on social media). If you do not want your image shared publicly or used by Hi-Fi or others, please wear a “no photo” wristband.
Permission — If you are not visibly wearing a “no photo” wristband, you permit photographers and Hi-Fi to capture, use, reproduce, display, and distribute your likenessin event photos and videos (whether or not associated with your name), including composite, modified, or derivative representations. You waive any personal, moral, or proprietary rights, and any claims of ownership, control, privacy, publicity, or for royalties or other compensation for those photos and videos.Class recording — Different instructors have different expectations regarding if and when it is appropriate to record class content. If you want to record video in class, ask the instructor for permission before doing so.
Photos/videos for personal use — We love to publicly celebrate our lives on social media, but some folks have reasons to keep this part of their life private and that is worth respecting. If you choose to publicly share personal photo and video from your experience of Hi-Fi, we expect that you will:
Check your footage for "no photo" wristbands and refrain from sharing those photos publicly.
If your photos or videos heavily feature folks who didn't know they were being documented (e.g. a couple dancing in the background of your dance video), make a good-faith effort to check in with those folks before capturing, posting, or sharing.
Take down photos upon request! If a photo or video’s deletion is requested, untagging the photo or video is not sufficient to meet this task
Our photographers are Nicole Schlaeppi and Kai Hayashi. Our videographers are Ren Enby and David Keogh.

We expect all attendees to be respectful, to practice physical safety on the dance floor, and to respect each other’s boundaries. Harmful behavior such as hate speech, coercion, and non-consensual touch would violate these expectations. The Hi-Fi Team reserves the right to ask you to leave the event without a refund if we receive report(s) of harmful interpersonal conduct.
Use this pre-event form for reporting accounts of individual harm and unsafe conduct within the fusion scene to the Hi-Fi team. Details disclosed here will be used to help the team make informed decisions to support the safety of attendees. We will have additional resources for during-event reporting available online and on site.
-
We expect all attendees to be responsible with their substance use. The Hi-Fi Team reserves the right to request that an attendee remains sober for the duration of the weekend if they display problematic behavior while intoxicated, and to ask them to leave the event without a refund if they cannot abide by that request.
