The seeds of Ben's DJ style were planted in Philadelphia in the mid '00s when he joined friends at a nightclub whose DJ played a seamless variety of music from around the world. Already a social dancer in blues, lindy, and latin dances, in 2009 he took the plunge into DJing at a New York house party and hasn't looked back since, DJing regularly around the Mid-Atlantic, from Philly to NYC to DC to State College, with guest spots at the Las Vegas and Denver Fusion Exchanges. He loves exploring new genres and styles of music, and seeing dancers making new memories and experiences through connecting to them.

A born and raised Seattleite, Cricket has traveled all across the country dancing and collecting music for the last decade to curate a magnificent blend of brain-itching songs mixed with a dash of chaos. While their main sounds consist of dark, rowdy, gremlin music, Cricket also thrives in the late night gooey music that keeps you up way past when you wanted to go to bed. They are beyond excited to be sharing their music and using their magic to give everyone the best experience possible anywhere they go.

With an extensive background in a variety of dance styles, he can explore the full-spectrum of up-tempo bangers to moody, ethereal micro… all the while staying connected to the rhythm of the floor. Having danced up and down the west coast since 2016, Eleanor's approach as a DJ comes from years of dancing the whole night straight with no breaks. She played local venues as well as national events in her first year of DJing, including Hi-Fi 2019. She aims to give the floor what it needs, no shame, and it shows: her sets have been described as “freakin’ lit,” “absolute bangers” with “no maybes.” Her music spans across multiple genres, aiming to nourish the energy of the room and keep you in the groove all night long. Expect to be musically engaged and emotionally compelled. With musician ears and dancer intuition, Eleanor is here to make magic happen.

Justin began his dance journey with Contra and gleefully spun in circles for a few years before falling in love with both Blues and Fusion. Since moving to Seattle in 2017, he’s continued to expand his dance horizons with WCS and Kizomba.

As a DJ he brings music outside the norm of what's often played in fusion (ie - more afro rhythms, funk, etc.), and weaves that in with more familiar sounds to get the party going. He’s also been playing with live-mixing between songs for a little bit of added spice and interaction with the energy on the floor throughout his sets!

Matthew has been dancing blues and fusion for over a decade, previously coming from the land of Latin and Argentine Tango, and since taking brief trips into the various Swings. He immediately fell in love with the improvisational freedom blues gives, while providing a structure to connect with another human. An absolute fiend for isolations and syncopations. His philosophy of partner dance - that it is highly conversational with plenty of adjectives, adverbs, and other parts of speech - is something he brings to dancing, teaching, and DJing. He strives to bring evocative music to dancers and empower them to intentionally connect and have whimsical, funky, and awe-inspiring dance conversations.

Dance has been a major part of Kezia's life since 2005, though her first forays into partner dance were in 2012 (starting with East Coast Swing, Lindy, and Blues in New Orleans). Once a friend dragged her to Fusion a couple years later, she became hooked on the unique combination of intimacy and freedom possible in that genre. As a DJ, Kezia is drawn to compelling and unusual music that invades your blood & bones, whether it be sultry R&B, Afrobeat, Latin polyrhythms, dark Arabic trap, or mind-bending electronica. Her sets are a carefully crafted journey, intended to bring those dancing to [captivatingly] unexpected places.

Ally began their love affair with DJing Fusion at house parties in 2007, and has been obsessed ever since. From local weekly venues in PDX to exchanges along the West Coast and throughout Europe, they have found a satisfaction behind the DJ booth that's become quite special to them.

They are a sucker for juicy rhythms and dirty beats, and are always seeking to find just the right song that, in a moment, can turn dancers into wild things—roaring their terrible roars and gnashing their terrible teeth and rolling their terrible eyes and showing their terrible claws.
